Looking for feedbacks (200pts list)

By fencer2, in X-Wing

200pts Imperial list. As shown it gets to 197 points. Leaves me 3 points to keep for priority or to spend on Advanced Sensor or FCS for a shuttle.

Please tell me what you think.

looks like a fun list. I would drop all the stealth devises though. free up 15 points plus the 3 you have to spare.

get another academy, and put auto blaster an scarlet.

I like the blaster on her because it forces your opponent to cancel the crits and take a stress, so it is much easier to double stress his best pilot with the captive. Maybe drop beast down to an academy as well and get a prox mine on her too, cuz the stressed ship will have a hard time avoiding it.

Thank you. I might drop the Stealth on Scarlet and put Autoblaster. This would bring it to 199 pts.

I'll keep Stealth on the Tie's to force my opponent to focus fire while the 2 shuttles "spray the field" :P

ok, as a co-developer of the Scarlet Cowgirl list i am qualified to offer this variant of ur list:

u have two buzzsaw shuttles which dish out consistent damage. u have no low PS blockers but ur intercepters should compensate admirably as they are incredible flankers. Kath is now fully loaded out with charges and ion cannon (something iv seen used in the Red Lady squad to good effect - it lets you 'ice' a ship by ionizing it and then bushwack it with ur intercepters). hi agility ships r a big threat to ur shuttles as they can flank it without threat of return fire. ion cannon should help disrupt their plans.
hard to say how to set up this large squad but id go 3 separate forces with ur large base ships split evenly amongst them - i find having a barel rolling firespray u need quite a bit of space around it ti maximize its movements.

Thanks for the advise Brown_Bomber. I thought about having FCS on the shuttle but I was also thinking it might be a waist of point if you already have Gunner on them. Tell me what you think.

About Seismic charge, given the size of the battle I'm worried it will also be difficult for me if I drop stuff in the middle of the field.

For the set-up, I was thinking having:

Option 1 [ Shuttle/Interceptor Night Scarlet Dark Interceptor/Shuttle ]

Option 2 [ Shuttle/Interceptor Night/Dark Scarlet Interceptor/Shuttle ]

I am partial to Fel, so I would probably drop the stealth on DC and the saber to bump the other saber up to Fel. The whole list sounds pretty awesome though.

i prefer setup 1. u have to think about what PS each ship has and how this plays out when u move. also think about ur own asteroid placement.

i would suggest flying hard to the far side the table with one of ur shuttles with the goal of getting in behind the enemy position. pick the shuttle that is lined up with a few or no ships at the start. With the other shuttle id try to go fwd 2-3 and then bank/boost 1 into the centre - watch out for turning too soon as its easy to hit a rock if u turn wout using boost.

id then swing scarlet to the side that is now free from your 'flying hard to the end of the map' shuttle with the goal of bringing it into the fight on turn 3. intercepters should stay wide (one each side - ready to swing into centre when ur shuttles arrive there - approx turn 3)

slow-roll ur tie-fighers into the centre and use them as bait for the enemy. Entice them to come at ur ties and be ready to evade/barrel roll out of trouble if it comes at you in numbers.

Well, the game didn't go as good as expected.

My opponents flew something like:

Han (Engine Upgrade, Push the limits, Assault missiles, Chewbacca, Saboteur)

Biggs (R2F2)

Ten Numb (Engine Upgrade, Advanced sensor, Ion Cannon) + Squad leader

2 Blue Squadron (similar load than Ten Numb)

1)I started with Shuttle/Interceptor on each side and Slave/Dark/Night in the center.

2)They sent their ship to the side and I lost a Shuttle almost immediately. I manage to take the shield away from the falcon but no damage past that which would cost later.

3)I got the other shuttle/Interceptor to attack from behind and got a B-wing out this way. Also in that time mange to get Biggs while losing an Interceptor.

4)After that mostly a close fight but the Falcon hurt me too much, managing to get out of my range using Push the limits and Engine upgrade.

At the end, I had the Slave and the shuttle out of shield against a falcon full health + 1 shield (thanks to Chewbacca). A little bit of bad roles and a lot of not getting the Falcon in my arc cost me the game.

That said, it was a fun game to play. I would do it again with a little less upgrades here and there and a little swarm ready to go after the Falcon.
