I added Serenity to the game.

By Reynolds Vs Solo, in X-Wing

Thanks... Really...you just "ruined" my weekend. 14 episodes and a full length movie.

Seriously... Thank you!

After I get through it, I'll help you out. I understand your want for 100pts even, we can do that but we can also make it worth it.

Great **** stuff! I do wonder how C3PO would look in one of Jayne's hats...

Also by the rules Wash can't crew a ship piloted by himself.

Wash can crew a ship piloted by Hoban Washburn. Two different unique names ...

Ah true. Go go gadget loophole.

At range 1, it should have an attack!

Surely Jayne should be able to use Vera! Critical damage as well, as 3 bullets took out a space station!

Yeah, it needs to have something to attack with. Otherwise, it won't be much fun to fly, IMO.

Well it does have means to attack, just not a standard primary, which is interesting at the very least.

... I'll be in my bunk.

The clear opponent for Serenity should be four B-Wings, split into two squads.

"Two by two, squads of blue."

The Alliance makes even the Imperials look nice.

*Lightbulb*

Alliance ships VS Imperial ships!!!

Now THERE'S some serious oppressive government on oppressive government action for ya!

You win the internet,

FuzzyBunny says it right.

I'm not going to review the rules, because I don't really think it matters for me to do so (others are better equipped for this). But I love the imagery and the work you've put into this.

I'm tempted to ask my Portland crew if we could put some money together to buy you a train ticket to come down here and show off your model, cards, and rules in a casual game one Sunday.

Just a heads up there is an all resin 1/288 Firefly out there for $99.99.

You're killin' me. That would be so awesome.

I haven't been to Portland in years but I do have friends down there. I am almost done with a streamlined and much nicer set of cards/rules after some very useful play testing and feedback from players.

I'd be happy to come down with it for a day of games. Where you all play at?

Considering the image you used on the Wash card I would have made the quote "Curse your sudden but inevitable betrayal."

That was gonna be a damage card quote but ended up not. Guess that frees it up for his upgrade card.

I hadn't see this thread before now.
And I have to say that it's all very "shiny."

I don't really like mixing genres,
but I really really appreciate the love and work
you put into your cards and the miniature.
I watched the entire series and own the movie
which I have watched many times and consider it
one of the top 10 sci-fi movies ever made.

I don't know if you have finished playtesting
but I'm usually full of innovative ideas for new stuff.
If you ever want some input I'd set aside the time,
but still I would suggest you can find a lot of inspiration
from the role playing game and the board game,
neither of which I own yet.

We've got several stores that host regular games. My regular haunts are Red Castle Games on Sunday afternoons and Guardian Games on Monday evenings.

At the risk of offending browncoats everywhere.

Just what x-wing needs. A ship based on an average at best sci fi series. It had its moments. Just let it go.

Lets throw in ships from Babylon 5, Galactica(both versions), V ( both versions), Space: 1999, and any others I've neglected.

Dude,

It's more than obvious that X-Wing doesn't need it.

Also, if you didn't like that show then you clearly don't need it, nor do you have any fear that it will be officially introduced.

So, given both of those, why do you need to be a hater? Some of us really liked the show, and you don't need to go and throw dirt on us. Does it bother you that we nerd out a bit over it?

I dont hate Firefly. It had its moments. Some very good, some very bad. It averaged out to an average sci fi series and a movie. May it Rest in Peace.

Right...

My point is that the OP clearly put some heart and soul into this, and that means you're kind of trolling.

If someone dosnt 100% agree with an OP, or has a comment that dosnt fit the mold of all others then they are a troll?

Fill in the blanks.

Hey, I don't know if you noticed but there's another thread where people are acting like decent human beings and donating X-Wing ships. Don't you want to go rant over there for a bit?

Not agreeing with an OP doesn't make you a troll.

Going out of your way to say "get over it" in a thread in which an OP is presenting his work based on his love for this game and a series that was cancelled, that's trollishness.

Not understanding the difference: not necessarily a troll, but clearly not being the sharpest took in the shed either.

Your message above: totally a troll!
