That's not long after my surgery, but I hope I can make it!

Is there a cap on attendance? Or is it, everybody that shows up to play will get to play?

We do not expect to have to cap attendance. The store has enough space for well over 100 players, if it were to come to that.

We are currently expecting somewhere between 25 and 50 players.

Awesome!!

I just got the green light from the missus. I'm in!

...and now to do something I've not done in a long time....a long, long time - figure out an army list to play (much like I used to do back in the old HS days).

Great! Thanks for organizing this. I'll be there.

Reminder: THIS SATURDAY!

Looks like Madness will also host regionals. Do you have a tentative date planned yet?

Not tentative. July 19th per the announcement .

I wish you guys weren't so far out. Takes me over an hour to get there. I'm going to have to make regionals though.

LMAO, you must not be from the PNW. It takes at least an hour to get anywhere up there. ;)

REMINDER! TOMORROW!

Also, Imperial Aces will NOT be legal! Don't forget!

Question: Aside from the ships, tokens, dice, range rulers, asteroids and damage deck, is there anything else we need to bring? I know I saw online somewhere (I think it was for Gencon) some official looking sheets to write down your army on with upgrades and all that. Do we need anything like that, or just come as we are?

So who ended up winning? I had to leave before it was decided.

Thanks for the games everyone who attended.

Ryan G ended up winning with his swarm.

Howl, Mauler, Backstabber, 4xAcademy

I just wanted to give a shout out to all the X-Wing players who made it out Saturday. It was an awesome event and I wish I lived closer to you guys to participate in the league. Madness has an awesome core of X-Wing players and are well deserving of hosting a regional tournament this summer. If any of you guys can make it...my local gaming group is holding an X-Wing tournament during Twistercon in OKC this Friday.

Again, thanks for letting me game with you guys.

Ryan W

Congrats on the tourney win, Ryan!

I would've liked to have had another crack at your TIE Swarm, but it's just as well. You outflew, outmanuevered and outplayed us all, and the result would've probably been the same (though I wouldn't fly Luke and company directly into the mouth of the devil again, lol).

Thanks for being one of the cogs in the machine that made my first X-Wing tournament experience a good one! You deserved the win, especially considering the drive you had to make. Kudos.

While I'm at it, thanks Hida and Lappenlocker and Joe and everyone else I met and played against that made me feel welcome and at ease. Truly a great representation of the best this game has to offer in terms of it's players. Thanks!

Nathan

Thanks Nathan! I enjoyed the event and was glad I made it, even if I wasn't feeling my best. I enjoyed our match and you certainly deserved that win! :)
