Sontir Fel and elusiveness

By irav222, in X-Wing Rules Questions

If I have sontir fel and my opponent attacks me gets 3 hits, I roll my defense get 1 evade and 2 eyes, I use elusive to make him reroll a hit, get a stress for using elusive, that stress gives sontir a focus; Can I then use that focus to turn my eyes to evades or is my order of opperations messed up?

Your order is messed up. It should look something like this:

1) Attacker rolls attack dice

2) Defender modifies attack dice

3) Attacker modifies attack dice

4) Defender rolls defense dice

5) Attacker modifies defense dice

6) Defender modifies defense dice

At this time, there is no ability that allows you to break that sequence (and in order to do so, the ability would have to explicitly say that it could).

To answer the core of your question, aside from your order adjustment, we can state it thusly.

Attacker rolls dice.

Fel forces a re-roll of one of them with elusiveness, gains a stress, and therefore a focus token.

Fel rolls agility dice, and now has a focus token to spend. Huzzah!

thank you for the clarification.
