Here's my personal summary FAQ for The Art of Seduction. I read through the threads here and these are the 3 main questions I had and the answers I gleaned from the threads. I didn't know any of these issues before today.
I've been playing with a deck that has Citadel law and AoS in it. Though the usual play is At the City Gates -> Citadel Law and then depending on what my opponent played respond with a counter plot or force him to change, Fear of Winter? Yeah, no, next please. Armed with this new knowledge I may try out waiting till the second turn to AoS-> Citadel Law -> something nice. It takes away the possibility of choosing to go into AoS when I see a plot I'd like to pin but it adds the possibility of pinning them with AoS, seeing what they have and then choosing 2 plots.
The QAs:
[Q] If I reveal The Art of Seduction, choose my opponent then replace my plot before the next plot phase is my opponent stuck with the same plot next plot phase?
[A] Yes, The Art of Seduction’s passive ability is a creates a lasting effect during the next plot phase even if it is replaced.
[Q] If I reveal The Art of Seduction outside of the normal plot framework event with an effect like Citadel Law or Bran Stark is my opponent stuck with the same plot next plot phase?
[A] No, you have no opponents who revealed a plot in the same action window and no legal targets to compare “opponent that did not reveal The Art of Seduction as his or her plot” against. With no legal targets to select the passive ability doesn’t take effect.
[Q] If I reveal Betrayal at the Wall and then switch into The Art of Seduction will my opponent be stuck with the same plot next plot phase?
[A] Yes, Betrayal at the wall’s ability triggers during step 4 of the plot framework action window revealing The Art of Seduction. Since this is the same framework action window the other players revealed their plots it has legal targets to compare “opponent that did not reveal The Art of Seduction as his or her plot” against.
[betrayal at the Wall]: When revealed, choose and reveal a new plot card if you control 2 or more Night’s Watch or Wildling characters]
[The Art of Seduction]: When revealed choose 1 opponent that did not reveal The Art of Seduction as his or her plot. That opponent cannot reveal a new plot card during the plot phase next round.
