I really enjoyed your video and found it inspiring for ideas and the respect you showed for the art of modelling just for the love of it. I think the lighting idea is going to work great for the cube. There are plenty of options with LEDs, some can glow, flash or even be motion sensitive.

And if all else fails use a Rubik's Cube all mixed up and say the Borg assimilated disco!

Awesome and inspiring, I thought the video was good, and the image and sound weren't as bad as you anticipated I think.. looking forward to seeing all the cool ships, and that Borg cube sounds cool.. I need to do some lighting items myselg..
