Ellen Ripley in Alien is a great example of a great woman character. She didn't ever go toe-toe with the Xenomorph. She stayed alive through wits and courage, but she never fought it, and she saved her cat. -
Which surges are you referring to. The skirmish surges? Because he can use them on both attacks, giving him a possible +2 damage each which is pretty decent on TWO different attacks. He's one of the only characters capable of multiple attacks per turn, and he costs a WHOLE lot less than Vader and Imp. Guard Champ. If both attacks had the possibility to stun/bleed/weaken/pierce/cleave he would be way OP.Campaign surges are related to

So what's your take? That is is not legal? What the card says is "perform the melee attack of Close and Personal", not "perform a melee attack with some dice". Don't you think there is a point to this wording? If you, like I, like to make sense of abilities and weapons, you would probably think that the reason that you get the bonus from the Vibrobayonet is because that is what you -
Yes it is legal There's no ambiguity here: Stay Down explicitly says "perform the melee attack from C&P again" and Vibrobayonet triggers whenever you do the melee attack from C&P -
It might be intended, but as written I would say Vibrobayonet does not apply to the melee attack from Stay Down. -
The ambiguity is that it says "after you resolve", but I do agree that it makes sense, since you are using the melee attack from Close and Personal. It's one of those situations, I think, where the text doesn't undeniably allow it but where it makes sense. . -
Forget the orange shoulder... the entire right arm apears to be in stormtrooper armour! Rather than it b somethng he scavenged or took as a trophy, I would prefer his story to be an ex-stormtrooper who saw the injustices first hand and defected.

Out of curiosity... Is EVERY Star Wars main character now gonna be a chick?
-
So what if they are? Also, there's more then plenty of characters in the movie who are men. -
He can use them just fine, it's just people not completely reading the rules reference additions in Twin Shadows. What it says is that if a figure uses an attack pool unrelated to his weapons, then the figure cannot use the surges on the weapons. -
I know, how dare that impudent Rebel scavenge from the fallen of our great Empire. I think the Twin Shadows is a combination of Tatooine's twin suns and the two big bads in this box. Boba Fett and Somos. -
The Surges ain't good and he doesn't have enough of them ... -
Whoa! Whoa Gullwind! Shhhhhhh! Disney does not have the rights to the Mutants, so Ixnay on the X Men, ok? -
Even though he has an ability called Deadly Precision, that weapons doesn't strike me as something that's super effective at long range. Maybe RG with a native accuracy boost. or just RGG since it looks pretty beefy I wouldn't be surprised at a 3 dice attack. Though that could be an upgraded weapon he gets later in the campaign. -
Actually he reminds me more of Barrett from Final Fantasy VII (except obviously without the machine gun hands). I wonder if Somos is one of the remaining clone troopers... then they really would be "twin" shadows. -
Why would anyone defect from the glorious Empire? -
False. Disney doesn't have the *movie* rights to X-Men. Marvel, as a subsidiary of Disney, still has the rights for comic books. I'm not sure about other rights, like board and miniatures games, though. -
Actually, Stay Down doesn't say to perform "Close and Personal", so the trigger "While performing 'Close and Personal" does not exist. Reading literally, you only perform the melee attack part of Close and Personal, and not Close and Personal itself. Also note that the melee attack of Close and Personal is not performed with any weapon. Vibrobayonet explicitly applies to the attack regardless. Also, the ranged attack of Close and Personal can be performed -
Thanks! -
Well if you have Ko-Tun in your squad you can do that totally. -
Just as an aside, it might be a bit rules-lawyery but the Vibrobayonet doesn't actually have to be on the gun that you use for the second part of the C&P attack. So if you keep your starter gun and attach the Vibrobayonet to that, you can still upgrade your main gun as usual using all of its attachment slots. -
In one word? Rubbish -
Wow, I didn't know you saw the entire movie already or read the script! -
Thanks for the answer.I just wanna know what you base that on?If you compare with his skirmish ability then he can use surges on the melée attack there, Luke can use surges on his saber strike. Why is this different? -
Some would argue he was pretty useless beforehand too...
