Hello, can you tell me the order of the attacks in case Biv attacks Solo with Close and Personal, and Solo plays on the Lam during the 1st part of the attack(the melee with red-yellow), will the attack miss and solo counter-attacks and after it resolves i do the 2nd (ranged) attack against

looking for imperial player tips or thoughts for the rebel player to help him in the mission. Biv needs an upgraded weapon ASAP. Twin Shadows allows for this, being able to only surge for accuracy really hurts. For imperials strain them out, bring trandos, run surgical strike. Make it so they can't surge for movement and can't use their Run and Gun and Charge Abilities it will shut them down completely -
hear me complain several times about Biv's lack of surge options several times in this video -
Biv is very strain heavy, if you can't deal with it, he's terrible. If you can, he is good. He's single target high damage. Proper weapon choices and an outside source of strain removal are required. Don't group him with other strain heavy characters or other single target damage characters. Saska is definitely on the weak side, but can be okay if you spend the credits and pick the right abilities. You pretty much have to take her ability to give out 2 tokens and use an extra mod, then sink credits into that extra mod in order to make her worthwhile, but there is an ever increasing list of characters that is better than her... She could definitely benefit from a tweaking of her abilities, especially now that there are power tokens. Edited October 12, 2017 by Union

Agree with this. If you have Biv, these abilities slingshot you into scary monster material -
ruling needed? Final Stand depletes and Stay Down exhausts. Biv can perform 3 Close and Personals, which means up to 6 attacks. But then he's useless afterwards for a while -
False. Disney doesn't have the *movie* rights to X-Men. Marvel, as a subsidiary of Disney, still has the rights for comic books. I'm not sure about other rights, like board and miniatures games, though. -
I let my two players change one character each after Aftermath in our first campaign. No charge. They only changed Gideon because he felt boring, choosing Diala instead. I was okay with that at such a early point in the first campaign any of us played. We want it to be fun. But changing at this stage, we are at threat 4, I would charge them 1xp as Marcus said or 500 credits. Actually to -
Why would anyone defect from the glorious Empire? -
Yes it is legal There's no ambiguity here: Stay Down explicitly says "perform the melee attack from C&P again" and Vibrobayonet triggers whenever you do the melee attack from C&P -
As for Saska, she has some great support abilities. I'm Imperial player in a Hoth campaign and my players are effectively using Saska, Diala and Loku to support Verena who just runs circles around my troops and kills them all. Between Saska's gadgets and Loku's sights and getting focused and rerolls from Diala, Verena easily takes down most figures and just chains her attacks. -
Actually, Stay Down doesn't say to perform "Close and Personal", so the trigger "While performing 'Close and Personal" does not exist. Reading literally, you only perform the melee attack part of Close and Personal, and not Close and Personal itself. Also note that the melee attack of Close and Personal is not performed with any weapon. Vibrobayonet explicitly applies to the attack regardless. Also, the ranged attack of Close and Personal can be performed -
Actually he reminds me more of Barrett from Final Fantasy VII (except obviously without the machine gun hands). I wonder if Somos is one of the remaining clone troopers... then they really would be "twin" shadows. -
Even though he has an ability called Deadly Precision, that weapons doesn't strike me as something that's super effective at long range. Maybe RG with a native accuracy boost. or just RGG since it looks pretty beefy I wouldn't be surprised at a 3 dice attack. Though that could be an upgraded weapon he gets later in the campaign. -
Forget the orange shoulder... the entire right arm apears to be in stormtrooper armour! Rather than it b somethng he scavenged or took as a trophy, I would prefer his story to be an ex-stormtrooper who saw the injustices first hand and defected.

Yeah I can see but I'd still rule it as legal: you're arguing the melee attack from "perform the melee attack from C&P" (from stay down) is not the same as the melee attack from "while performing C&P, the melee attack". Simply because Stay down didn't specially say anything about C&P itself and only mentioned the melee attack from C&P Easier reading version: an action A contains B -
I know, how dare that impudent Rebel scavenge from the fallen of our great Empire. I think the Twin Shadows is a combination of Tatooine's twin suns and the two big bads in this box. Boba Fett and Somos. -
thanks a lot man. the latest version will have to suffice for you until i migrate to new software and release 2.0. it still should be functional. though some character portraits will be default images. -
He looks competitive for me, especially when attacking targets with high health points. His double attack looks good.Is he around during tournaments or does he have he some disadvantages I am not aware of? -
So what's your take? That is is not legal? What the card says is "perform the melee attack of Close and Personal", not "perform a melee attack with some dice". Don't you think there is a point to this wording? If you, like I, like to make sense of abilities and weapons, you would probably think that the reason that you get the bonus from the Vibrobayonet is because that is what you -
Whoa! Whoa Gullwind! Shhhhhhh! Disney does not have the rights to the Mutants, so Ixnay on the X Men, ok? -
Just downloaded this to my phone. This looks amazing and I can't wait to try it! -
Until I read this thread I hadn't even considered there might be ambiguity. It seems pretty logical to me that the vibrobayonet applies each time. Otherwise it's not exactly much for 7xp of cards... -
He can't use his weapon's surges during the melee portion.
