So what is the definition of benefit? If a story calls for a fast, lightly armed and armoured ship, that would be statistically the same as an a-wing/r-22 spearhead, why invent a new one? Especially if you want something recognizable? I am okay for that, but some will chafe at that decision. One thing to consider is that I the a-wing and b-wing are now older craft, we may see them

In most of the battles in the movie the rebel alliance just throws everything it has into the assault. When it came to the defence of Yavin there wouldnt have been a reason not to launch every fighter they had available.

Oh, I wanted the same thing, but the story was actually about Baby Yoda and Mando. So while it may not have been what you expected, it didn't "steal" the focus because they are the main characters and thus the focus. And Baby Yoda is adorable. I'm very happy with what we got, it's just not quite what I expected. To change the subject a bit, developmental age estimates for Baby Yoda

Yoda’s Specie is the least described even in old lore due to lucas himself’s instructions, it doesn’t even have a name but yoda’s specie so anything about the baby’s anything is total speculation

Just noticed that The Dam Bursts does not have the Ent trait.

I think The Child might have been in stasis for the majority of its life, having likely been grown in a lab from Yoda DNA. I think Mando opening the carriage might have been some of the first moments it has been awake.

Now that's some good speculation Don't think it'll turn oit to be true, or even verified as untrue, bit good speculation nonetheless.

The initial information on Baby Yoda said they were at least 50 years old. So that predates even the clone wars doesn't it?
  9. Daeglan
yes. about the time of the first batch of clones which is a little after Phantom Menace. the Dr. also has the same symbol as the clones have on their sleeves in attack of the clones Edited September 17 by Daeglan

What is it about the SW setting that it only takes 20-30 years for history to become the stuff of myth and legend? That woman's description of the Jedi sounds like someone from today describing Rubik's Cubes as "enigmatic devices which once enthralled the minds of millions!"

Yoda did turn up to collect the clones for the fight at Geonosis didn't he?

I'm starting to think that "The Watch" / "Child of the Watch" might be the Maul faction, rather than Death Watch of Clone Wars and prior.. Helmets were removed all the time, even a couple of the minor mandos.. Perhaps The Watch are the disgraced Death Watch that sided with Maul and went into hiding after the Clone Wars..

Oh oh! I have a question; pick me! What's the fluff/description for Force Sensitive Outcast? What is the outcast cast out of? Jedi Order? Civilization? Is it a voluntary, or involuntary casting out? I want to know how the spec fits into the grand scheme. Thanks!

Not sure if that's spoilery or not so i made it tiny. Literally not in the movie at all. It's in A poster that looks like a propaganda attempt by the empire next to an ISD. if you blink you'll miss it.

I really like we did not see who or on which planet the Empire was fighting, it was kind of the point to show how the Empire acts om any given planet.

This is my favorite episode so far. I watched it about 10 times in a row. Love the music.

I may have missed something. Where'd they establish this?

For Kessel, I think it was less a factor of "nearby" and more a factor of "not a heavy Imperial presence," at least at that point in the timeline; per the Spark of Rebellion episode of Rebels Season 1 that's definitely changed, perhaps due in part to L3-37's droid-lead slave revolt. And it could have just been a storehouse that the Pyke Syndicate was using for unrefined coaxium they'd collected

It looks to be an RT-97 variant. The same weapon the Rebel Heavy Trooper has by default on EA Battlefront 2. Edited December 25, 2020 by BipolarJuice typo

TLJ indicates that the unplanned jump can be performed by one person. The rest of the crew can evacuate beforehand. Also, there's one large problem: For the tactic to be used, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just has to be better than the alternatives. When your objective actually is to take out an imperial fleet, it won't get cheaper than losing a cruiser, whether you ram it into the ships

in whose care? and What was their plan? I think you are looking at it from the wrong angle.

Real question: did Lando actually own the Millennium Falcon? Because that whole deal with cutting the gate to the ship yard, and removing the parking boot, combined with Lando's hidden cheat card all led me to believe that the Falcon wasn't actually his. But then it was full of all his capes, which is really my only clue that it actually belonged to him. Did they mention why it was impounded? Edited May

as a note: jedi and the force had already become a myth to nearly everyone byt the time of the original trilogy (luke knowing nothing of them, most of the rebellion having heard only stories despite their leaders having actually worked with them, the imperials not even believing in the force despite working with Vader) so it's really an original Lucas decision and they're rolling with it

I gotta say really loved a lot of what I saw. Much of it very much harkened back to the old style of TV shows, where there is a overriding plot but each episode was very much it's own adventure. My only complaint was the second half of the final episode really dragged for me; until Luke showed up I was just *bored*. I also love that we are remembered that Bo-Katan is
