I plan to use Piett to help me win Podracer. eSebulba/rPiett/FOST/Boonta Eve adds up to 30 points, and Piett can make sure Sebulba’s Podracer hits a resolvable side each round.

First, since Disney acquired Lucasfilms and all things star wars, all the old content we considered cannon is no longer cannon. It is considered legends. So if you wish to use legends content in the ABY (After the battle of Yavin) You will need to ignore a large portion of legends/old cannon. How ever there has not been any thing significant yet to counter any BBY cannon. Technically still considered legends content, but easily usable

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_Episode_VII_The_Force_Awakens#app_creatures Anything the is First Appearance here is up for grabs for new stats, or as I call them "new weapon/ship names" From a quick skim there are some useful bits worth putting into form, like reference to a game (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Dengue_sisters), examples of hurry rigging (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Rey%27s_speeder), and awesome space craft designs (http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Eravana, http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Quadrijet_transfer_spacetug). Most of the fluff associated would be in http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Star_Wars:_The_Force_Awakens:_The_Visual_Dictionary

Well; it's out. Episode 69 folks, where we chat with Christopher West and FFG freelancer Sterling Hershey to talk about gaming in the Force Awakens era (or any time after RotJ, if you want to stick with the new core canon storyline).

I was thinking about the General again, and realized Spy Net fits him like a glove. If you run Rieekan/Padme, you'll almost certainly hit a Focus each round (odds are around 70% for eRieekan/ePadme before rerolls). The real question mark for me is Con Artist. It has a ton of potential, but with only one yellow character, will it be reliable in Rieekan/Padme?

I'm gonna argue that Leia is at least force rating 1. If you are force sensitive, you have at least FR 1 from the books. Her receptiveness to Luke's call in Empire and her sensing the death of said important NPC says that she is force sensitive. She has never trained any abilities (that we have seen) but she has the potential.

I think you're right, Tylock. It was stated that Kylo Ren's training was incomplete. His own battle with the dark and light were holding him back. Now that the source of that conflict is gone, Snoke can now finish his training. We'll likely see a far more badass Kylo Ren in Episode VIII.

Leia has a Force Rating; that much is obvious from the movies. Probably little to no XP in actual Force abilities, though.Kylo Ren is difficult to pin down. Did the writers not read the rules before writing the script? ... ;-)

Is it worth making a distinction here around 'control' and threat area? The necronomicon is a) a weakness (which means while it may have a player card back, it's functionally considered an encounter card) and b) not in your in-play area but your threat area - so I'm not sure it qualifies for selection anyway? I'll have a gander with the RR and see what I truffle up. Anyway, this is beside

Well, the design ideal would be that the difference between strong Roles and weak Roles becomes smaller and smaller as the card pool and options expand. That so far some Roles are significantly more desired and some are seen as effectively pointless is at least a minor design failure currently.

Marksmanship doesn't really rehabilitate Springfield at all, since it also works with all other guns - ones which are actually worth playing aside from times when that event is in hand. The temptation to think that, I feel, comes from the fact that Marksmanship does what Springfield looks like it was meant to do - but that doesn't mean that they should be used together, rather that Marksmanship is a successful fit for that design

Weaknesses with a player cardtype (asset, event, skill) are controlled by their bearer and, once their revelation effect, if any, is resolved, can be used as any other card of their type (RR p.21 - Weakness). So a Weakness asset (like the Necronomicon or Baron Samedi) is in the investigator's play area, not their threat area. What makes The Necronomicon (or Baron Samedi) unqualified is the "cannot leave play" in its text. Edited August 8

I'm hoping C-3PO can turn some of those 2 Focus sides into 2 Discard when I don't have a lot else to do with them. I don't think that'll be enough, though, so I'm also hoping Heroes get something to help in that regard.

Seen a lot of people saying "best Game of Thrones EVER " on social media, at work etc. I'm not convinced. It was an amazing episode, and probably makes the top ten, no doubt, but not sure it was the best. Battle of the Illegitimate Children and Hardhome were better battle sequences for me, and both episodes ended with a grand, chilling payoff as opposed to a cliffhanger (I mean come on, how deep is

I think having people like Hux as second in command makes perfect sense for someone like Snoke. Sure a more competent underling would mean a stronger First Order, but also a threat to Snokes complete control. The power and efficiency of the FO is completely secondary to Snokes personal power and he will most likely be perfectly willing to sacrifice the former for the latter. It's totalitarianism 101. Hux is not respected, clever or

Funnily enough, we have a gag about R2 not being able to turn down the volume on his space phone in Episode 3. Poe's thing is entirely in line with that.

I changed it slightly so that it was in a decaying orbit being slowly pulled towards the star. The players repaired it enough to stabilize its orbit and it will remain a monument but I did specify it could not leave the deep core when they asked if it could be fixed for hyperspace - i cited battlestar galactica's back being broken after the last jump, basically. They may very well go back there to

Could also mean someone else is aware of Baby Yoda and doesn't want the Child left alive in case they succeed in turning the child. Imagine a Yoda version of Darth Maul or Starkiller, might be reason enough to eliminate them before they master their abilities.

Its entirely possible Gideon isn't the only one interested or involved in this. I know Disney's trying to forget the Inquisitors despite them being a perfect way to introduce a replacement for the Sith given they were supposed to be extinct. The Emperor could have easily assembled genetic material from the slain Jedi and over 20 years practicing a way to perfect cloned force users, which frankly is how they should have reintroduced

I disagree. For the record, I didn't like it at first, I thought Maul should be dead. However, they did it fantastically well and it ended up becoming one of my favorite parts. As for the cloning angle, Maul's entire story and his relationship to Sidious makes much more sense if he was abandoned and presumed dead, only to hang on to life and then return. If he'd been cloned, his motivations

I agree about Baby Yoda, which is why I'm wondering if Dooku being familiar with Yoda may have been the one who located Yoda's people and secured Baby Yoda via one of his adepts only Dooku didn't survive long enough to pass his prize onto his master. Edited September 28 by copperbell
