Very cool and well done. At first glance, I thought Biv was a guitarist rocking

Going to run a twin shadows short campaign in one afternoon (so only story missions). Was thinking of offering diala's lightsaber as an XP upgrade, much like bivs weapon. So that way, if the person wants the lightsaber, they can get it. I was thinking 3 XP, but that is rather arbitrary. Is that a good idea for Diala -
Thanks. Also. Has anyone else noticed that the game now has Mal (albeit in female form in the return to hoth expansion) Jayne (Biv) Kaylee (Sask.. is her name? The technician from twin shadows) and Shepard Book (the commander guy from the starter set).? Edited October 9, 2015 by DariusAPB -
Biv can stun himself, I don't see how it's out of the question that a figure could weaken itself. Anyway I'm sending the following query (since no-one else seems inclined to): If a target with cunning has weakened on it then, if it rolls an evade, does it get the bonus block? This question boils down whose effect the weakened is said to be. I would assume that conditions are considered to belong to the figure they are on rather than the figure that applied them

have seven AWings now... i"m going to do a ROY G BIV squad -
seen a fair bit of negativity towards Loku in the forums (although not purely so, he's not Biv...) but I think he was the reason we won our campaign finale last night. We were playing Bespin with the ISB Infiltrators forced mission. Going into the final mission, the Rebels had not won a single mission. A couple had been close, and a couple had been complete bloodbaths (*cough* Panic in the Streets). We employed the "anti-snowball" house rule in the final story mission, so the Rebels had 11XP (IP had 12). Loku had been effective throughout the campaign; dealing reliable damage, providing extra damage for other heroes, and providing free crate retrieval, but it was Overwatch that really shone in the finale. The IP was playing Imperial Black Ops, and played "Hired Help" in the finale, so there was an abundance of Hunters. Overwatch prevented attacks from -
guess is, that counts as one of Biv's skill cards. So probably only the new heroes -
Both heroes look good, but Biv's deployment card isn't as tanky as I'd like it to be, and the free surge that makes Saska amazing is non-existent in skirmish. Does anyone have any good list ideas for these guys? Edited June 3, 2015 by WonderWAAAGH -
Saska and Boba Fett seems like maybe a combo. You can use Boba in a rebel list so that he has some more options for allies and Saska can weaken enemies to Proc Bobas unknown second ability. Regardless I'm psyched to play either in the Campaign. EDIT: Just realised that C&P can't switch targets. This gives me some concern that Biv will just keep overkilling things, particularly with the bayonet. Edited June 3, 2015 by Norgrath

Just some thoughts on the new heroes and whats been revealed so far, feel free to join in on the discussion or bring up your own thoughts. 1. Biv's Vibrobayonet doesn't seem worth the XP cost. Assuming this is one of his two 3 XP cards, the Bayonet seems like a poor choice. For 3 XP (the equivalent of 2 to 3 missions worth) you get a bonus to the melee portion of your initial skill. First, you have to consider that not all weapons can have an attachment (for example, the powerful T-21 has no attachment slots.) Then you have to consider that if you use this, you can't use other attachments (like the one that gives a free surge each turn.). Then theres the fact that this only works with a certain high costing skill that requires you to be in melee, already -

The final problem I see is that it only adds damage to a skill that is most likely already going -
also seems highyl impractical to have a vibrating bayonet on your gun, can't beed good for your accuracy. I guess that Biv have to path just like other heroes, one of those focusing on his C&P ability. Perhaps another of his abilities is to add a mod slot to a ranged weapon -
Approaching it from a mechanics point of view, I'd like to see:A true tankA heavy weapon expert - low mobility, high damage (I though Biv was this but he looks like close range dps more than anything).A hero of the style of Boba in game (hyper mobile, defensive, debuffs, but lower damage -
Well biv looks like a pretty fun figure to use and you will want some of ig88 command cards. There are some pretty good ones for droids we are getting r2 and c3po.The tech lady can bring in hunters so you bring in ig88 lol.As far as the royal guard pack it has some pretty sweet command cards for brawlers and we all know the wookiees are coming soon.I think buying them is more than just for the maps. If your just a rebel player do you have Weiss pack since EW is needed for too tier sabs? You can also bring in rebels via tempoI am pretty sure you can sell off the pieces and even make more than you put into it. Firstly: thank you, I love you. Some of my thoughts (if anyone cares):Saska looks fun and useful (though probably worse than Gideon the majority of the time). Gadgeteer seems essential. My initial impression of Biv was much less favourable. He has poor mobility and poor multi target damage. If you upgrade him he can probably kill a regular royal guard with one activation (which is good) but other than that his contribution seems minimal. Into the fray makes him obscenely tanky though. I love the flavour of chance cubes but they give expected 17ish credits (2/6*150-4/6*50) which is garbage. The hunting rifle seems amazing, you'll seldom get the focus but it's a cheap long range gun that can weaken a target. The carbine is also good , it has slightly worse range than the a280 (i.e. enough) but noticeably more damage. Leadership seems very weak

Last update before the weekend - going away with the ms. (maybe I can bring IA with us?!?!)Mission Log: Saska Damaged: Biv Damaged:(sorry photobucket is being dumb, and won't show it rotated properly, but you get the idea) What mission cards? Dark side agendas? Light side? Won't get around to that til next week, but better late than never! Also, I couldn't wait: Edited August 6, 2015 by jjohnson111 -
Biv makes me think of a close-range tankier Mak, with close and personal I think he could take out a big target each turn. His strength seems to be more in dealing with single big threats as opposed to several smaller ones. Hunting rifle looks like a great option for any support hero that doesn't need to be on the frontlines. Jyn could use it to weaken a target with her quick shot ability right before they get to take their turn, Gideon/Saska can use it whenever they have an action to spare to weaken or pick off a far away near dead target and maybe get a focus for a stronger shot next turn. That's funny about inspiring leadership, cause I think quite the opposite. In my opinion the stronger cards are early on and the later cards are weaker per value. Supervisory agent is pretty -
There are 6 new missions, listed in order of the mini campaign: 1 - Hunted Down : Green Side Mission, time period 2-4, Han Solo as reward2a - Past Life Enemies : Red Side Mission for Biv Bodhrik's 2b - Shady Dealings : Red Side Mission for Saska Teft3 - Canyon Run : Gray Side Mission4a - Fire In The Sky : Agenda mission (Pursuit of the Enemy set), time period 1-5, Bounty reward card4b - Infiltrated : Agenda mission (The Empire's Reach set), Surveillance Operatives reward card the "a" missions are if the Rebels win the previous mission, "b" for imps. They are separate missions though, so are represented outside the mini campaigns as side missions. Missions 4a and 4b use the same map layout, just different details. So basically, if you're playing the mini campaign, those are the 4 missions you'll end up playing. If you're playing a regular campaign, depending -

heroes are done (Kayn Somos, R2-D2, and the Heavy Troopers are left). Introducing Biv Bodhrik and Saska Teft: http://i.imgur.com/dZHsYHL.jpg -
just got my Twin shadows and all the Wave 2 Expansions (Boba, Droids, Somos), and all the cards fit in my current box just fine. Half the tiles fit so I think I'll keep them separate. The figs will have to stay in the Twin Shadows box. But I'm moving Saska and Biv to the core box and moving two other figs to the Twin shadows -
Love that list, Johnny B - I might have to give that a go soon. And yeah, Biv's health is definitely a concern, but if you're getting him in the fray (which should be always), at least he has the +1 block, and it's just so great having a big hitter like him on the Rebels side. I think you'll also find scenarios where his sacrifice of 9 points may well be worth it if he's taking out higher point figures.I think we're really going to see some fun lists in the coming days -
think with the pass biv is a great counter to Weiss, rgc, chewie, amd vader when he is a shooter. So I think he might see more play than I though at first -
scratchbuilt in the end. I have applied the decals, but have several different 'tests' and botches still on the paper I can try and photo for you as well. The pixelation is only apparent from about an inch away (looking REALLLLY closely), and is more about there being slight space in between the dots of toner, so transparency of light colors might be a problem. You could also do a orange decal for Biv's shoulder pad with a 'hole' where the rebel symbol is, and apply it over a white shoulder pad. Then use paint on the decal for some highlights/paint chips etc. You wouldn't even need to do the WHOLE shoulder pad, because you could artfully use paint to blend the orange of the decal into the paint on the rest of the pad.
