How the **** does a thread about comedy in game sessions devolve into yet another pissing match off the rails....gee lemmeee guess.......hmmmm. On the first page too, almost like it's a plan or something, or the only thing some people do here, huh, go figure..... Edited June 27, 2018 by 2P51

In general, I agree across the board. Mind wipe, while better in Forbidden Age, is still more often than not used to make killing an enemy in a single turn less of a problem. In these cases, it really doesn't matter how much damage or horror they CAN do. Rabbits Foot is actually pretty solid in my opinion, and that is because it comes in Survivor. There are not a ton of useful accessories

Clan in early L5R CCG wasn't about the story as much as how these factions existed. Naga was the only non-Imperial Faction besides Scorpion to have non-Unaligned faction/Clan coloring because game-wise they were going to be Clan-like factions. The Naga weren't a clan as much as they were a known but hidden faction that wasn't a Major house yet one can point to their strong ties to Dragon

@themensch is correct here. General Hux did indeed inherit his position. He didn't earn it through merit. And Snoke was well aware of Hux' incompetence, and his arrogance.

I have added the new characters from Tempests and Tides in.

I think that's because there wasn't enough good role-locked options / provinces. Of course I don't hope for more Feast or Famines, but still after the cycle I think it won't be as obvious as Fire / Void Seekers. Let's be honest, apart for provinces I don't think there's good Void-only cards (yet).

Was elder Hux second in command and highest military leader, answerable only to Supreme Leader Snoke? I’m not saying Armitage didn’t have a leg up at first, I’m sure he did - but I don’t see how anyone can ignore or deny that he achieved a much more lofty position in the First Order than his father ever held.

He was a high ranking member of the Order, and all indications was that he was a founding member of the First Order, so, yes, I would say that he was very close to top spot in the order.

I have to ask what the the Sathari's reaction to the redemption would be. If he really saw the light, he could maybe stay on Arbooine to make up for what he did. That could conveniently write him out for the duration of the adventure until you can find a way to work him back in at a later date.

“General Armitage Hux, Brendol's son, was spared by Snoke in order to use him as a tool in his rise to power.”

I would love that since he was one of my favorite underused characters, but its a little early for that unfortuantely (he had his Gempuku while being fostered in the Mantis in the old story so should still be a toddler at this point).

If FFG can change Genders, they can change Ages too. (Not to mention islands that totally shouldn't be there....)

No Euron + no Sam + no Cersei = episode of the season so far, and I like Cersei. Between Bran "I Know What You Did Last Summer" Stark and Arya "You Just Made The List!" Jericho, Littlefinger is f***ed/10 if he stays at Winterfell. Wouldn't be surprised if he cuts his losses and heads back to the Vale or throws his lot in with Cersei at this point. King Snow/King John has not had much

Maybe, but until they do the Permanent change is actually a pretty strong indicator that this is legal. Permanents could not be discarded, and they changed them to be unable to leave play. I'd actually never noticed that distinction. So you'd be able to dump Daisy's Necronomicon to something like Crypt Chill too?

You know what!? I think you're right!!! That's an amazing deck based off that analysis!!! Synchronicity definitely belongs in that deck! Where you have one die of both characters and only one has Melee! Edited August 7, 2017 by Double Blanks Gaming

So amazing, absolutely we are all just terrible and could not comprehend the level of genius in that deck.

I'd like to point out that flavorfully, she's not dying but rather assuming a new identity. Or "her" card. We don't have any evidence either way yet. Though personally, I'd rather it be spoiled through Nerishma's link. The man sure knows an ambush when he sees it!

I have no idea where the story goes from here. Ok Dany you burned the food and a lot of dudes who would have helped us fight the NK. Do you feel satisfied yet? Can we move on to important stuff?
  20. Khudzlin
Actually, let's get back to basics, reading the damned card. This means you cannot choose the Necronomicon for either Pushed into the Beyond or Crypt or any other effect that would make it leave play while it has horror on it.
  21. FTS Gecko
Probably not. For Dany, the Lannisters and their allies, the Iron Throne is still the most important / only battle. You can probably add the Vale as well, as although Littlefinger is playing nice with the Starks it's because he (currently) sees the North as his best route to the Iron Throne; I doubt he believes anything Jon has been saying about the army of the dead. In fact, his meeting with Bran was probably

Chance Cube is a better deal once you consider rerolls. For example, if you're playing Vader/Kylo versus some other kind of aggro deck, it can add a lot of speed to round 2. If I'm playing Vader/Kylo vs. Rey/QuiGon, for example, I let Rey do her thing, do about eight damage to Vader, then claim while I'm putting the Chance Cube on Vader, leaving me free to do whatever I want. If

I think that will be the ticket. Grand Inquistor, quads, leading shots, on an ISD will be a punchy ship in all directions at all ranges.

If only General Rieekan cost 2 less.....then I would have had a character that fired Maz in my Mill deck.
