Davith Elso is not part of the rebel group, the heroes could hear some battle noise at the other side of the cantina. It could be a small imperial patrol led by one of the remaining Grand Inquisitor coming to kill the jedi. If the heroes decide to help Davith and succeed then he could become available as a free ally (using the skirmish deployment card) for their next mission. Or it could be Biv resisting Kayn Somos attempt at arresting him for whatever reasons. Or it could be Han having trouble with some bounty hunter. Speaking of bounty hunters, besides black market sellers, there will also be some happy to help during the a future mission if the rebels are willing to pay the price (as an ally free of threat cost since rebels will have spend credits to hire him). If Onar, Shyla and Vinto are not part

Head canon for Biv was that he was a former stormtrooper

Funny. My thought was Biv was a Canderous "clone" from KotoR. So, in my games I call him the Mandalore. Edited for clarity Edited May 4, 2016 by Hersh

frigging intense, with Luke being 1 point away from death but dodging one Stormtrooper and another Stormie rolled too low on the Accuracy; then Darth came storming in, but Jyn managed to interrupt and put a Stun on him, robbing him of the killing blow (he could chose to move or attack, but needed both to reach and kill Luke). We were literally shaking with excitement when that mission ended! Twin Shadows – Heroes: Biv, Saska, Mak, & Gaarkhan; Imp Class Deck: Inspired Leadership For our second campaign a couple of friends joined in, swelling the Rebel ranks to 4 heroes; I had thought this would make the game more interesting and “realistic”, but to be honest it just added more clutter. Still, I can’t complain, ImpAss works well with 4 heroes, too. Twin Shadows felt a bit unbalanced, and the Rebels really struggled at times. Again, the plot was very

play this campaign ‘cause it’s awesome So far, after 5 campaigns played, Return to Hoth is my second favorite ImpAss campaign, behind Jabba’s Realm and ahead of the Core campaign (which would have been fantastic if I’d known the game enough to tweak it as I just did RtH). Twin Shadows should have been interesting (=good story), but it suffered from crappy heroes [I am contemplating light fixes for Saska & Biv at this point]. Heart of the Empire is alright too, but lacked some more movie tie-ins and felt 3-4 missions too short to manage a nice set-up/escalation/resolution structure. In other words <3 Return to Hoth <3 (and also <3 IanSolo <3 ). Edited February 28, 2018 by angelman2

brings them up to the level of Gaarkhan and Ko-Tun, so sort of right in the middle of the pack of all the released heroes. Biv is still a really boring character that just hits stuff and his only good xp cards are the ones that make his attacks hit harder, but at least now he gets to play with his targeting a little bit more. Saska is able to pump out enough device tokens now that her abilities that care about spending device tokens actually become usable

Saska is not my favourite sculpt, but she came out OK. Biv, on the other hand, is probably my best work; very pleased with how he came out. The sculpt is amazing but even so, I think you'll agree I freehanded the F out of his shoulder

actually, I think they will upgrade the main characters like Han and Boba. MAYBE they will upgrade some units like the AT-ST or the E-Web, but I don't really believe, that this will happen before Imperial Assault v2.0. I really doubt that they will upgrade their own creations like Biv or Somos

many heroes total? Complexity throughout a campaign, or with starting skills and starting weapon? 1-vs-many or app campaign? Alphabetical: Biv, CT-1701, Davith, Diala, Drokkatta, Fenn, Gaarkhan, Gideon, Jarrod, Jyn, Ko-Tun, Loku, Mak, MHD-19, Murne, Onar, Saska, Shyla, Tress, Verena, Vinto. I think least complex: Fenn, Mak, Onar, Gaarkhan, Shyla

wouldn’t say everyone’s but close to it. I don’t think there is a worse combination of starting ability+starting weapon than Biv, though. Other than strain-recovery he can’t spend any surge during those two attacks. At best, that just makes him boring (edit: to be clear, this is mostly during intro/early missions of full campaigns). mind. Which cards do you think should be there? Do you think this change makes Spectre Cell more beatable? Beatable enough to enjoy the game again? My intent is also that all of my miniatures see play. Would be a handicap system a reasonable approach? Something like every player has to chose a handicap along the lines of „your squad must include Boba Fett“, „your squad must include Kayn Somos“, „your squad must include Biv Bodhrik“. Which units would qualify as a handicap in your opinion

upon a time, these guys were the absolute bomb. They're pretty likely to survive an attack, and they were pretty speedy. Post errata, however, they're just too slow and have too little range to make a big difference. Regular Rebel Troopers If you thought Red-Yellow was a bad attack, meet Blue-Yellow. Absolutely awful surges, pitiful survivability, and an ability that will rarely ever see use, these are a huge pass. Biv Bodhrik And yet another Rebel hero that's subpar. His abilities aren't too bad, but again, we've got a strange mix of wanting to be good at ranged while also being up in his enemies' faces. He's even squishier than Fenn is, and he was already too squishy. Poor big, bulky rebels with huge guns; will they ever see the light of day? Saska Teft Don't worry. Someday they'll make

Boss Fixer Scorch and Sev. I found the Wizards of the Coast miniatures once repainted fit in nicely. I chose traits and abilities from other cards to make a super 4 man roster. I put the deployment cost at 20 which I know is kind of high but when you look at the card I think it is appropriate. Only have a handful of SWIA figures left to paint. I customized one of my Biv Bodhrik to give him Scariff trooper paint scheme on his arm and have been seriously considering giving a Storm Trooper squad of 3 a Scariff Trooper paint scheme based off the Star Wars Battlefront game. I really like the mix of colors on those troopers. My thought was to leave the helmets standard white but like these Rogue Troopers modified their uniform from pieces from fallen comrades. Kind of like the original canon

cards.boardwars.eu/Expansion-Boxes/Tyrants-of-Lothal/Rebel Heroes/CT-1701/ If Tress is sort of a fixed Saska or Loku, then CT feels like a fixed Biv or Gideon. Ability-wise he looks like a hybrid between Garkhan and Ko-Tun, a strong starting ability that grants a 3rd action and costs 2 strain and class cards that manipulate power tokens and combine offense with team support. Unlike Garkhan, the power of CT's Barrage is tempered by the addition of a white die, which can make him an explosive but also high variance hero. From the very first mission, there will be some turns that he is a complete beast, mowing down enemies, and other turns where is ability will essentially do nothing. CT is a strain intensive hero, as his main ability drains half of his endurance, and he often will still want to move a space or 2 to setup the perfect triple attack

Well, here's Biv finished. All the techniques I used were pretty much covered in Sorastro's videos. Scarf was done with the same method as the Trandoshan skin (only I applied pure Ogryn Camo to the edge after wash), armor the same way as stormtrooper armor, brown belt etc. like the various figures (including Trandoshans), hair rougly the same way as Jyn... So, thanks for the lessons once more, Sorastro. There's my attempt to apply them to a new figure

That Biv is fantastic! Regarding dried paints, a dip of the mixing brush into water should liven the paints to the desired consistency

perform the same special action twice during an activation" A way that Chewie would have been able to double slam is if his Wookiee Avenger Card gave him a new ability.. let's call it HEROIC TOSS. This ability allows you to perform a Slam and doesn't count as an action. In this situation, Chewie would be able to use HEROIC Toss and Slam because they are different abilities. Similar to how Biv in campaign can perform Close and Personal and then use Last Stand (which performs a close and personal among other things) Edited January 9, 2018 by frotes
