cost, 12 health, 4 speed, black defense die, blue/blue/green attack. I'm surpised Boba Fett is only 13 points. 12 health, it looks like 5 or 6 speed, black defense, blue/green/yellow attack. R2-D2 at 3 points, way cool. He'll probably be a good utility piece for Rebel skirmish squads. Can't make out any details about C-3PO anywhere. Heavy stormtroopers, Tusken raiders. This is going to be awesome. And I love Biv Bodhrik's "Close and Personal" ability. Hit them with your gun, then shoot them with it. I can't wait to see what the other new hero is like

couple of lines that really stood out to me are:"In addition, twelve new double-sided map tiles draw you deeper into the Star Wars™ universe. You may find yourself on the bridge of an Imperial Star Destroyer or engaged in a firefight in a Mos Eisley cantina.""You may find yourself desperately trying to escape to the Millennium Falcon, and with Biv as a soldier in your strike team, his powerful attacks and deadly precision can mow down any hostile figure that stands in your way."An Imperial Bridge? Sweet! We can already see the Cantina. I don't know if they are saying there will be a falcon tile, where you can actually move around and even fight inside the falcon...I kinda doubt it because it would have to be huge...but that would be the coolest frekin thing ever and worth the cost alone

managed to pull a Chance Cube from the search deck, and after the mission we rolled well to get the extra credits from it. Then while shopping we just happened to draw the DXR-6 blaster (1000 credits, Red/Red with +6 Accuracy) and could exactly afford it by selling Mak's current blaster. After that, the momentum swung huge. Now, rather than taking 3-4 attacks to kill something, we were needing 2. Then Biv got his armor. Then Mak got "No Escape" (!!!), and so on. In the final mission, Mak was disintegrating anything that he decided to attack. So yeah...if you're a Rebel player and you lose a few of the initial missions, don't give up: if you build your characters well and make good buying decisions, you'll catch

abilities a bird you wanted, but it's not really necessaryFenn like Kayn, is probably too expensive to be shoe-horned into a trooper list, you're almost always better off buying more troopers, but whateverBiv andSaska were never designed for skirmish play as near as I can tell. Both are on the cusp of working but anything that causes as much or more damage to yourself than the enemy 5/6 times is terrible. Biv needs some defense or you need to ignore his abilityThese weren't really

There's a few deployment cards that I can't see bringing under any meta. Sadly, Boba Fett springs immediately to mind. I'd also include the Repulsor tank, Biv and Saska. I suppose Saska might get play if you REALLY wanted to bring a single scum figure into a rebel list, but most scum lists are half rebel anyway so it's not like there aren't way better options to combine the two factions. Certainly not a 6 cost card with no health, a grenade that's more likely to damage you than your opponents and a terrible attack

many ways of triggering it to be otherwise. I initially said it would be 4xp but I don't think it would be unfair at 3. It also seems likely that he'll get stealthy for 1 xp. I expect he'll get some sort of survivabilty boost that doesn't revolve around hidden at 2 xp (or I hope he will at least). Most characters have some way of getting focus (IIRC Biv is the only exception) but I think Davith might not since he gets so much hidden (and if it was consistent rolling three dice with the shrouded lightsaber would be sick). One ability that I think would be interesting is something like the opportunity ability from SWM where he gets a bonus attacking exhausted figures. Interestingly so far he's only shown 1 cheap strain ability, surely he'll have some other sink

missons of Twin Shadows are:- Two red hero-specific missions, which you include if you have Biv and/or Saska in the campaign. The- Green (ally) and grey (generic) side missions, which you include with the normal rules (heroes select, and randomly, respectively -- or by house-rule let the rebels select what they wish)- Agenda side missions, which the imperial player has an option to purchase if the corresponding agenda sets are selected for the campaign (and the IP comes across them while having enough influence to afford them

actually have more fondness for the unknowns. I just wish FFG would make them worthwhile to take in the game. How many of you play Saska, Biv, Fenn, Mak, Loku, Verena, Gaarkhan ? I think Davith and Murne have made some headway. I know a lot has changed from the starter set as well. But I would love to play these other characters and not feel at a disadvantage

Biv and Mak are two of the best tin-can openers there are, I'm surprised you didn't win. Did you lose Luke before it spawned, because he does pretty crazy damage

said earlier- a way to pay homage to Nien. I've mentioned before on these forums that I like the idea of a "hacker" hero who could manipulate enemy vehicles and droids- performing test that could even cause droids to malfunction and attack the Empire. It was also a pretty common theme for several Rogue One characters. I'd like to have something like that- though, I think it's heavily implied that Biv was once a stormtrooper under Kayn. But yeah, I'm really looking forward to new heroes. As of right now, it might be what I'm most excited for with the smallbox. Hopefully we'll have more info soon! Took forever for me to type that, a few new replies since I started I REALLY like that idea. Edited March 6, 2017 by subtrendy

Half way through a Jabba's Realmy Campaign Using all the new hero's plus Biv. I've seen all character's play a campaign except for Davith and the Hoth characters so I've got a good idea where they stand here's a word on each. Shyla - her ability to move people behind her has been the bane of high cost imp figures. She whips them behind her and all of a sudden everyone else can double shoot the target until it is dead. I'm often forced to use units later than I'd have wanted in fear of that happening. Vinto - probably has the highest kill count I've ever seen. Sure those kills are mostly steals but who cares it's co-op. He's often last to activate to give the others max time to leave things on 1 hp. I forget the card

rebel heroes (Biv and Loku, I believe). Both sprinted to objectives, then met at final one. To be honest, it was a while ago, so I don't remember the specifics well. But yes, it was both of our first times on the mission. First campaign, even

starting a new one. A one-off, one-day mini-campaign was called for, and (as the Imperial player) I decided to experiment with something a bit different. So the night before (having not had much notice) I bashed together some Hero sheets using the Kensei Imperial Assault Tools Suite. For example: Obviously that's a completely unique anti-hero - except - how unique is it really? Not very! That's actually identical rules to Biv Bodhrik. I also made anti-hero equivalents of Jyn Odan, Diala Passil, and Gideon Argus - a selection of play styles, four available for three anti-hero players to choose from - complete with custom-made and printed Hero sheets and Class cards. I also set aside models for a Death Trooper, Greedo, The Grand Inquisitor, and Agent Blaise to represent the anti-hero characters. Next was to put together a story. To do this I chose

designers thinking hide, and Davith's access to it, is FAR more valuable than it is. This is probably because the -2 accuracy can be useful in skirmish, however in campaign, the -2 accuracy has been utterly worthless for us. It's had absolutely no impact across multiple campaigns, not making a single shot miss. The only time it's been useful has been combined with stealth to completely and totally screw over Biv or Rebel melee who chose weapons with red dice. Edited October 8, 2016 by Union

There's a rule under credits somewhere, probably in the Learn to Play booklet, that says you can sell your equipment at half its value. There's an additional rule that says any item you have the doesn't have a value (starting equipment, reward equipment, Biv's items purchased with XP) can be sold for 50 credits

which was the one where they command the neutral officer to move around. Overall, Rebels won 5 missions (all sides and story mission 4), Imperial won 6 and won the campaign! Absolutely crushed them on the finale, just had way too much firepower, and even with Gideon dishing out actions the +1 damage from all my groups was too much, and the stun from Arc Blasters seriously crippled the team. 2nd campaign: Heroes were Biv, Saska, Mak, and Fenn. Imperial used Subversive Tactics deck. Imperial got Savage Weaponry, Exploit Weakness, Weary Target, Surgical Strike, and last Executioner. Imperial player HATED THIS DECK. Could not do enough damage to our beefed up team (we all got health upgrades with our skills). Heroes steam rolled this campaign, getting the tie victory for 2 xp during Under Siege, crushing Imperial Hospitality, and winning story mission 3 also. The only saving grace
