called out as being the strongest deck most often. As for your heroes, you still have a lot of strong choices. Personally I don't think he should "ban" any of them so much as picking three or four and saying you can only have one of them, but I digress. Among the top level heroes you still have Fenn, Vinto, Verena, MHD, Mak... I think as long as no one insists on taking Biv you'll be fine -
Fenn? Stark - Jarrod? Thor - Biv? Gaarkhan -
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAI can sooooo relate to Biv in the first picture! It's great -
make Biv from Imperial Assault -
provides a free block or evade that doesn't require an exhaust, and 3 health to a hero who spends health like strain. That makes it better than Biv's armour which -
good thoughts. So where are we at? Gideon - Nick Fury Fenn - Captain America Diala - Thor Gaarkhan - Black Panther? Mak - ? Jyn - Spiderman? Saska - ? Biv - Bucky? MHD - ? Verena - Black Widow Loku - Hawkeye? Davith - Quicksilver Murne - Scarlet Witch? Onar - Hulk Shyla - Iron Man Vinto - ? Kot-Tun - ? Jarrod - Ant-man? Drokkatta -
Sadly it doesnt work with quick shot as quick shot is triggered during your activation and therefore you get the movement points during your activation and they go into your movement point pool and aren't an interrupt ability. BUT you could do that move to get ouf Bivs Close and Personal or Garkhans Charge or move away if Gideon orders someone to attack

another thread we started speculating on who each campaign hero would be in the Avengers. Sure, it's kinda silly, but it was also pretty fun, so I figured we could try to have a topic about it. Basically, it might look something like this: The Fellowship of the Holocron Murne: Gandalf- Leader, bosses everyone around, has long flowing robes and staff Diala Passil- Aragorn Biv: Frodo- Useless (Alternatively, Onar- has great power, but also extremely vulnerable) Gideon: Sam- Ultimate wingman, pushes himself to the limit to help his friends Mak: Legolas- Long range marksman, pointy ears Gaarkhan: Gimli- Uses an axe, probably both like salted pork Shyla: Boromir- Jarrod and J4X: Merry and Pippin- The Dynamic Duos! Bonus round- villains! Weiss: Sauron- looks down on the heroes from his perch, the overlord Sorin: Saruman- lends his powers to his machines of war Blaise: The Witch King- leader -
went all out, but only managed about 11 damage on him the whole game, then he recovered 2 damage and the royal guards came in to polish my guys off. Only survivors on my side: Boba Fett, who took 3 damage total! and elite stormtroopers.(6-40+ Loss) Wow. What a day, great games, huge variety of lists, and only one Vader and only royal gurads were with vader. There was Weiss, Luke, Biv, R2, 3P0, Keyan, lots of Boba's. I think it was a good mix. 10 people turned up and I came 4th with 6 game points and a high SoS. I got into this game because of Boba Fett, and he did not dissapoint. High speed, great dice, cool abilities, Mobile and just the best model to paint. Oh baby, bring on more skirmish!!! Anyway, thanks for reading this far, just wanted to share that -
Thank you for sharing your work. I like some of the changes you've come up with, especially the ones for MHD, although some of the abilities no longer really match their name, like Superior Positioning and Final Stand. I also don't think Biv can ever be successful if you keep his base ability the same. I am personally trying to limit all changes to the base hero sheet for the sake of practicality. A playgroup of new to middling players is going to struggle with grokking a myriad of changes to all the class cards, but 1-2 changes on the base card is easy to digest and minimizes strain on the player to internalize the changes. changing multiple class cards in the I think would be too difficult for the players I'm expecting to work with, but would probably be fine for the PBF crowd -
Went through a handful and they all look excellent and you did a really good job incorporating what we already know about the characters to avoid any contradictions which I usually see from people who try to come up with backstories without looking at the character's side mission and flavor text. I liked Biv's backstory, I've been trying to figure out his rivalry with Kayn Somos and hatred of stormtroopers ever since he came out and you explained both nicely. I have a bit of an issue with Davith's story because of the timing. If he was a Jedi Knight in the order when Order 66 happened, then he would be in his 40s at the time of Imperial Assault's campaign during the battle of Yavin. Anakin was 22 during Order 66 and is 41 during the battle of Yavin. Davith looks a lot younger -
hero's defense they are prioritizing things like Shake it Off on Biv to remove stun and Verena has duck and weave but Gideon and Saska don't really have an answer and Gideon is hosed pretty hard when his friends are getting stunned. Slowing the heroes down means it's taking them more turns to win which means you have more turns to shoot that them which means more damage in the long run. Also stun doesn't just slow the heroes down, it stops them from double attacking, which means Imperial troops survive longer to attack more often. Troopers with their re-roll ability are great at rolling surges, the green die had 3/6 surge sides and the blue has 2/6. I've found elite troopers to be the best carriers -
playing the main campaign, I can only think of one time where the Rebel player rushed the doors. It seemed fair, honestly. She won because she had a good sense of when to shoot and when to run. I am, however, not taking any chances. In the TS I'm going to be using subversive tactics to try and cripple and slow down her dynamic duo of Biv and Gaarkan -
ended up being very effective at killing enemies. Dont know anything about Murne yet....but she does look like she will actually be fun to play a support character, since she actually gets to roll dice. Mak is always awesome, best hero in the game IMOLoku is tough, I would stay away from him here, not enough action economy to provide any real value with only 2 of youVerena = great, Biv = great = but both are melee and i think your squad would suffer from all melee, ranged attacking is generally better in this game for flexibility and movement use. Gaarkhan I would say would be fine since he plays like a ranged character with Charge ability. Edited June 3, 2016 by jomayo112

kill quickly. Force preservation can be key. It can be frustrating for the IP player though, as they often have very little to do in a turn if everything is dead. The specific example above sounds like it should have required two activations to me... I am assuming the 2 free movement points came from Fenn's Tactical Movement, but that happens in his activation. Everything else sounds like a standard activation for Biv, but to take out 2 5HP figures like that is unusual for him. Does he have the vibrobayonet and an improved gun? Did you roll the 1 block (or surge cancel?) on both stormies -
characters, but rather that I think some of them have interesting mechanics that are going to waste because of their badly costed cards. Jyn's Hair Trigger, for example, is a really cool ability to play with or to try and play around, and I think it could be a lot of fun in competitive skirmish if the rest of her card was better. Saska's Shady Contacts, Mak's Critical Hit, both of Biv's abilities; there are lots of fun ideas out there that just seem like they are going to waste right now. Even if we don't ever see these characters updated (which I'm almost 100% certain we won't) it might be cool to see some of these ability concepts make a return in future characters -
With the introduction of Bossk, I thought about creating a one-off campaign myself with using the Bounty Hunters. Boba, IG88, Dengar, and Bossk. You could have them fight Rebels AND Imperials.Boba = JynIG88 = MHD-19Dengar = DialaBossk = Biv

breezed through the tutorial last night without a single wounded hero. There were four of us, we took the three heroes from the Hoth box plus Biv -
core set for the tiles/figures/cards to use Twin Shadows. With Twin Shadows you could just easily get the model of Han Solo, R2-D2 & C-3PO, and Kayn Somos. Saving you some money. That way you guys can use the models over the card board tokens. Kids love to see the actual models (even if unpainted) more so than any card board token...heck most adults including myself do too! Also, you get Biv, which I think is a great hero for kids to use. He's got the ability to shoot far, but also do damage up close. Plus he's got a BFG! And with the core set, you got Gaarkhan and Diala (wookiee and jedi) to choose from and if you have video game kids, you get Fenn and Mak who are like the "Call of Duty" characters they play being sniper/gunman. So they enjoy that

Rebel player. I've also heard that Onar Koma is weak, but I have a hard time believing that both can be true. Before I go out and buy it, does anyone here who's played it so far think that Jabba's Realm could become balanced by the choice of Rebel heroes? Would a team of Onar, Loku, Vinto, and Shyla still wipe the floor? What about Onar, Loku, MHD-19, and Biv? Or Onar, Loku, Davith, and Saska? Another way to look at this: What's the worst possible team you can think up, and would JR still be too easy if you played with that team? What other things could one do to balance JR? Biv, Loku, Ko-tun, diala. we are playing on hard, we have won two missions -
yeah, I think they are just going to keep releasing new stereotype heroes or tropes. HotE has another Sniper figure, another Brawler figure and another bomb figure. I think it's also a shame about Biv, Saska, Ghaarkan, etc. but I think they'll just move

Arttemis any idee why an astronaut uses a space suit ? It minus 257 degrees Celsius out there . An no pressure . And she gets forcefully blown out the cruiser by 2 direct missie hits . Not even a trained Jedi would survive that . Would indeed been better If kylo just blasted her to smittereens. Biv Edited December 15, 2017 by Bivicius
