minimal fix for Biv and Saska: Play app campaigns

Easy opponents are a luxury that Biv cant afford. He has to focus on not getting gunned down while trying to take down the boss

with Sustained Fire or Armored Onslaught with Mortar...etc Second there's the possibility of the Rebel group being deliberately forced: who makes the decision on which Rebel gets swapped in after the old one dies? If Rebel then as Rebel I'll deliberately suicide the weaker heroes so that I can get Fenn + Gideon + Shyla + Diala or similar. If Imperial then as Imperial I'll kill off heroes until the Rebel team is Biv + Saska + Loku + MHD or similar Edited April 24, 2019 by ricope

added the Twin Shadows mini campaign and content from Wave 1. Biv and Saska are now playable in either the core campaign or the mini campaign. I will add more content after I flatten any new discovered bugs

would be much cooler if it was a special figure... cards are cool and all but having a unique pose of Vinto (or heck, even Biv) would be next level. I know they'd never put that much effort into a prize though... cards are pretty easy to design. On another note, those Bossk and Sabine figs for Legion look pretty darn cool. Sigh... I guess I could swap them out for what I have

Aesthetically wise, I love Onar, Biv, Murne, and Shyla. To play, I really enjoy Vinto and Davith. Diala seems like

have played the Raid on Gray Cap Cantina three times in two days - this time I took heroes in alphabetical order. I was starting to wonder if I have lost the skill, when I only got bronze (125) with Diala, Davith, CT-1701, Biv, and only a little better (137) with Drokkatta, Fenn, Gaarkhan, Gideon (my first ever play with Gideon in the app). The third hero set was Jarrod, Jyn, Ko-Tun, Loku, and I finished with my all-time record score (200, Platinum). Offense really is the best defense, and not giving Jarrod a weapon upgrade was the right choice. (I have always said that DXR-6 works well with Self-Sufficient Ko-Tun!) A few more details on the skills, weapons, and others: https://www.boardgamegeek.com/play/details/39333306 (Elite Wampas are scary, but I don't want to disable RtH to remove them. because he's new. I'm going to play *one* other character with him, and I want it to be one of these guys (haven't seen them in action much): GideonSaskaMHD-19Murne-Rin Now, from my understanding these are all support characters... so this might be a bad idea. That being said, if Davith and one of those is a terrible idea, then I'd pick from one of these: MakLokuVerenaBiv Verena and Biv are barely in there, and I've seen the other heroes in action too much to want to use them (including Finn

That's a good question. They may have decided her starting abilities are too crucial for her to be playable. Melee characters that don't have some means of closing gaps are often pretty close to unusable. When wounded, Davith is a much discussed example of this, as is Biv in general because of Up Close & Personal. On the other side you have Gharkhaan's charge and Diala's Force Push. Then there's Shyla who, late game, can cross the map and wipe a group. So losing Tress's first ability will suck the fun out of the game for her player. As for her second ability... well, those style tokens are the whole point of her. In the first few missions of a long campaign she's not likely to have another source. Well, that's just my guess. To be honest, before you asked I hadn

necessary to get some increased sustainability. Davith is one of those heroes who just looks much stronger than he actually is. He is so horrible when he is wounded that he is almost unplayable. A cool hero design, but a good Imperial Player will focus him early and make Davith nearly useless. Loku Kanoloa:Loku, the hero I would have put in C-tier if it wasn’t for the fact that I feel Biv deserved a tier of his own. It’s hard to pinpoint what Loku’s main problem is, but the fact that he has no way to get extra attacks, has a single blue dice on both strength and tech tests, and doesn’t provide a whole lot for his team all adds up to a pretty mediocre hero, to put it nicely. His 10-5-5 stat line is decent, at the very least

went for a random selection of the ones I had painted and ended up with Biv, Garkhaan, Diala and Onar. We're a very "in your face" team

Biv overrated? Seriously though, I was expecting a bit more of a bell curve. Most heroes should be A's but I would have expected a couple of more

that list above for people who can use Call the Vanguard? Otherwise you missed a lot. Hunter or Trooper includes a lot of people. Wonder if it'll be worth it on Biv

Fenn and Biv are two of my favorite go-to, and I have head-cannon about their friendship. I like Vinto and and Onar as well. The last campaign I ran was the Jabba's realm on the app and I used those

Hello! I've recently started painting and the Imperial Assault miniatures are my first painting projects. I'm using some cheap brushes from a dollar store and a couple of higher quality from Rosemary and Co (sizes 0/2, 0, 1). All paints are Vallejo Game Color. Miniatures are posted in order of painting: First set: Heavy Stormtroopers from the Twin Shadows expansion Second set: Tusken Raiders from the Twin Shadows expansion: Hero: Biv Bodhrik (Twin Shadows) Hero: Saska Teft (Twin Shadows) Core Set: Stormtroopers Core Set: Royal Guards As you can see, I only do a basecoat of the mini and its details. I currently do not have Nuln Oil and I tried (multiple times) to make my own but that failed (e.g., the Royal Guard with a black/red color). Thanks to Sorastro, 54NCH32, and many others for their color schemes/ideas. Edited August 6, 2017 by secondVISION

Gaffi stick is also a recurring item to me too for melee hero to purchase. At some point I thought it could be related to heroes (Vinto or Jyn have a blaster pistol hence maybe why the DH-17 and DL-44 were being pushed so much). I tested with Fenn, Mak, Biv and Davith since none of them have a blaster pistol starting weapon but it did not change the fact that among the 8 items, DH-17, DL-44 and charged pistol were right there to purchase. I am playing on my android tablet. I'm actually considering managing the armory by myself to allow more variety if it turns out it is not a bug. Edited August 29, 2018 by IanSolo

That and they have no reroll or accuracy modification, so they can totally flub their attack and hit as hard as a riot. I'd be alright if they totally redid the Twin Shadows skirmish side. I love Biv and Saska but they are horrendous. Tusken Raiders are ok but outshined by nearly everything

Portage No worry, I was just explaining more the reason I have Difficulty to find a way to make it "Front Liner" and try to take advantave of the current Dice he have (BBG). My next Fix idea will be on Biv, Fenn and Sorin, but i will open a new topic after I found some idea Edited August 15, 2017 by futil

Asking for clarification, in campaign when Biv uses up close and personal he cant use surges on the melee attack from his weapon is that correct? He has the same ability on his command card for skirmish does it change things? I want to ask this more detailed but its 3 am and I cant articulate myself well

great objective runners (tech tests) and very good with the right equipment and skills. Mak with Disengage, Jeswandi Training and No Escape can really hurt imperials. Gaarkhan is really good at initial cleanup with a weapon with Reach and Cleave and Rampage, but is strain-heavy. Biv competes with Gaarkhan for the melee spot. Diala is the best support with Force Adept, Force Throw and Battle Meditation. (I think it is a waste to build her as a damage-dealer.) With the right gun and mods Saska will be a wrecking ball. Gideon with Masterstroke (and Mobile Tactician) is as good as your best fighter without spending any credits. Follow Play by Forum games on BoardGameGeek (or just look at the final builds), or just play more. There are a few hero strategy guides around. (Also, Fenn with Tactical Movement and Rebel Elite is great.) Edited August

group has finally gotten our Hoth campaign going, and we are now three missions in. Our team is Jyn, Biv, MHD, and Davith, and so far the Rebels have won all the missions (though, our IA took us to the wire on Battle of Hoth and White Noise. We are terrible rebels). As such, we have had a good amount of credits and XP to play with.I have come to a point where I am unsure what may be the better route to go with Davith (MHD, the other hero I am controlling, is saving for his Bacta Radiator). I was fortunate enough to get him a vibrosword and balanced hilt, which pairs nicely with Falling Leaf. However, I am now at a point where I need to consider his next upgrade, and I am torn between Fell Swoop and the Shrouded Lightsaber as my next purchase. I am fairly

hope is that these new heroes have 2 good 4xp skills. Too many heroes seem to have only one worth while option at that level. Or worse: be like Biv and have no good options at that level (I mean, come on, one requires you have no strain at the start of your C&P, and the other is once per mission, but still injures you and leaves you stunned. Yeah they would have been OP without those restrictions, but they are 4xp skills...they should be! It's Not like the rest of his skills are super impressive) Edited September 20, 2016 by lowercaseM

than that. Maybe it is actually pronounced "Chewracca" and "Ori Wan Kenori". Maybe many Rothans died to get those secret plans. Maybe that bald guy Temuera is playing is actually Rora Fett! This is also great. I'm a teacher too and may have to employ some of your methods in the future! Wow. I hadn't heard of Jib Dodger. Hilarious. In Imperial Assault (the first FFG game I got into) we have Biv Bodhrik. But Jib Dodger is better

that's again true for any weapon (the BD-1 vibroaxe for example is much better with the balanced hilt, just like the lightsabre). Dancing weapon would be better with a green die than a blue die, since blue/green combo is generally more than enough range during the campaign and, for a 2 strain cost, adding a blue die to a close combat attack to get some range is not much different than biv's close and personal (opposite in theory, but similar effect) and this is a 4xp ability. I'm not saying that the lightsabre is total junk, I'm simply saying that for a hero specific reward, it's "weaker" than most tier 2 weapons, which seems counterproductive to me...plus, it's a lightsabre! Shouldn't it be way more
