And the box office is a minority of what makes Disney money in the first place as Disney, just like Lucas Film has always understood that the merchandising is were the real money is. ? -
I just.... where to begin? How about here -(she even wants a female director to run a Star Wars movie) The fact that you even said this is disgusting, and I think you will find it ruined what little credibility you had left with a good majority of people on this forum. Is it just unacceptable to you that a women would ever direct a Star Wars film? I’ll never wrap my head around -

Not Spiritcaller level good, but very close. I could see her being a common purchase with zero fate just to run her in a political conflict and then sacrifice her after she served her purpose. -
Odd question.... its after. -
After Rogue One failed in China despite starring 2 of the biggest Chinese actors in the business I knew Star Wars was never gonna take off there, so SW flopping in China is kind of a given at this point. Here in South East Asia, on the other hand, we love SW but the marketing push for Solo has been considerably minimal compared to the previous films. A lot of people outside of the fanbase -
the Entmoot is sad yet again -
Well, someone has to say it, but congrats on the scorpion for finally wearing a kimono properly. But yeah, she's good, and kind of scary. "I'll pull your spirit caller, thank you." -
His point was that at first you think it might be Ahsoka, then you realize it isn't. That he psychs you out, not that he disguises the character's true nature. I actually didn't notice and "misdirection" or think that it was going to be Ahsoka at all, as I've been proceeding under the assumption and hope that no such thing will occur, so to me it was just another of the -
This is the way. -
You have expressed my sentiments exactly, good sir. -
I totally get what you mean. I had the same reaction from the trailers. To put it simply, for the duration of the film, he made me forget that Harrison Ford is Han. I mean he is, but so is Alden. Once you see his performance in context and in its entirety you'll get what I mean. It also helps that this movie is roughly a decade removed from ANH. Edited May 25, 2018 -
Same here! -
Oh wow, I had no idea. That's really interesting and concerning to me. Why did the movies offend you? I have really enjoyed every new Star Wars movie and think Solo will probably be no exception. I really don't want to support discriminatory, racist movies though! Anyway, I apologize that you are upset at the folks at Disney for the recent Star Wars movies. Please tell me more about why you feel this -
The ability to wear a Kimono properly is inversely relative to the standing of the character in the Scorpion hierarchy. This character being sac'd for their ability is directly relevant to being such a conservative dresser. -
Maul man! When I first heard rumors that he is in this I thought it was a really out of left field inclusion, but having just recalled what he did in Clone Wars where he successfully set up his own criminal empire, it made much more sense. Now I'm excited at the prospect of further exploring the crime syndicate wars in future SW flicks. Also this has the obligatory lightsaber scene. Haha.....just when -
If the kimono ain't on the floor then she needs to find the door. Cuz she's wearing it wrong. I'm pretty sure that is a Sorpion clan saying......kind of like "a Lannister always pays their debts." Edited August 5, 2017 by Ishi Tonu -
Loved it. -
Thundercats is another victim of the 'lets turn an action show into a comedy' that seems to be what Cartoon Network loves doing nowdays. It started with Teen Titans Go, then Powerpuffgirls, Ben 10, and now them. At the moment I don't think that there is a single normal action show on CN. But hey, at least the Ducktales reboot has been good. 80s --> 2010s The creator's idea of a worthy successor/better new -
I had very low expectations, but really enjoyed the film. Great acting, pacing, and story. I enjoyed watching Alden grow into Han Solo as the story progressed, as he matured from a boy to a man. Donald Glover was superb as Lando. I also really liked the Kessel Run; I like that they preserved, yet altered, the Maw from the Legends EU. And the whole theme of the film was an extension of Han's -
MY GOD. WHAT AN OUTSTANDING MOVIE. Holy CRAP! I was so glad with this! Ohoho my GOD..! -
The Gamorrean scene looks great! Lots of Quarren and Mon Calamari. I guess this is on Mon Cala? The other planet looks kinda like Lothal, similar buildings and graffiti. I guess that is where you might find Sabine? It must be Sabine, but I kinda wish it was someone new. If it is Sabine, she can explain why she doesn't do the whole "keep yer helmet on at all times" thing. A Star Wars -
They should spoil Tsuruchi in the same way - posting his card on Hotaru's link! -
Yeah, I was at Carousel too. 2-3 screens would normally bring in a huge crowd, but it felt empty. -
She can play go with me any time! Gonna hate seeing my ambushers bounce back.
