Just got to the theater 30 min before show time. We were running late and was worried about getting a seat. Nobody here. I was the second person into the theater. The power of the Johnson! Excited though1

I think everyone expected it to be bad. Ive worked in the cinema industry nearly 15 years and this is one of most shocking flops I can remember.

Well, shields is obvious: Fail and the base will take damage (possibly interfering with the other things on this list)Defense guns: fail and you won't be able to attack the enemy with them for that round. After all, the base wasn't designed to have all those systems running at the same time, so they would just run out of power for a turn or two.Troop Coordinations: Definately a boost to combat checks

yeah, nice as LWF can be I really am not a fan of it over the guarantee of auto-thrusters would really like a (not-TIE) aggressor profile on this thing. Would make it a terrifying ship to behold, nearing x7 levels of scary

I loved it. It actually FELT like Star Wars and I was smiling like a kid from start to finish

Its 0907am on the 25th of May and Im in Beijing now. The film only releases today. Star Wars doesn't have the same cultural cache that it does back home. Its actually not that surprising at all that its not done huge business right out of the gate. But... you've t a bee in your bonnet about the state of SW these days, so nothing anyone says will convince you otherwise. Edited May

Not to derail the topic but I was just wondering what other iconic characters that are stated in the Rise of the Separatist besides dooku, obi wan, and grievous? Any other Jedi?

Not Spiritcaller level good, but very close. I could see her being a common purchase with zero fate just to run her in a political conflict and then sacrifice her after she served her purpose.

Swing with her politically and take advantage of her 3 pol. Then sac her in a different conflict to borrow something sexy. Seems decent.

Because Real Life is just brimming with city-sized spacecraft that we could ram at near-lightspeed?

Planet being Pammant, Republic Praetor-class Star Battlecruiser Quaestor hit it, in 19 BBY according to Legends Wookieepedia. Also mentioned in Strongholds of Resistance. Edited January 18, 2018 by Darzil

It would still be prohibitively costly to use that tactics. Let's say you use an old freighter like you said in your example. Now, the Raddus is (in rough numbers) 3400x700x460 meters in size. If you look at the Gif in this thread of the impact on the Supremacy, it doesn't really do much more than cut through it in a straight line. You don't see a massive explosion in the Supremacy

Well, that looks great. They cleverly show an Ahsoka-looking person on the word "Jedi", in a place that looks like the Pyke planet, but it can't be her...no montrails (or whatever her head thingies are called). Classic Filoni move...love it!

The Gamorrean scene looks great! Lots of Quarren and Mon Calamari. I guess this is on Mon Cala? The other planet looks kinda like Lothal, similar buildings and graffiti. I guess that is where you might find Sabine? It must be Sabine, but I kinda wish it was someone new. If it is Sabine, she can explain why she doesn't do the whole "keep yer helmet on at all times" thing. A Star Wars

Again, I don’t believe they literally have millions of ships in the Empire, but even if they did/do, we were talking about the First Order, which does not. That said... planet killing weapons are not new to the saga known for its introduction with a planet killing weapon. The USE of such means is what is abhorrent to the galaxy. That’s why after Alderaan there is such a boost to the Rebellion, and

Countless fighters and small ships, about a million capital ships smaller than star destroyers, 25,000 star destroyers and a few command ships like the executor. Literally. ;-) Edited January 29, 2018 by SEApocalypse

I saw it last night, it was great. Loved the added depth to the worlds, the depictions of life on Corellia, the insight into the criminal underworlds, etc. It was a great heist flick and a solid addition to the Star Wars library. Show me on the doll where the Star Wars touched you.

And the box office is a minority of what makes Disney money in the first place as Disney, just like Lucas Film has always understood that the merchandising is were the real money is. ?
