Thanks we had a game last night and didnt note that change. Ffg need to update rules book online for them
-
No true Scotsman would use game mechanics to beat me! His win is invalid because he had more ships and a bigger bid than me, which, based on the rules of the game I play which I consider arbitrary, means he got to use those rules to his advantage! How dare he use rules in that way, to advantage him and not me! -
Imo they are the best in the game for it. -
Git Gud doesnt just mean become a good player. It means get better, always strive to be stronger. If SC can win massive tournaments etc using high activation then he can win massive tournaments using low activation. Git Gud, get stronger, get better. -
I imagine I'll get 2 of each, at least, but 3 seems like a stretch. -
Flotillancitos and Flotillancitas happen -
Noice. Thanks for persisting! I seriously hope the rebel transports have offensive retrofit slots. No expanded hangers would limit their role a fair bit, especially since half of them have no guns! -
Might make them too good at blocking, which isn't something I'd like to see. -
with sloane they can already be taken apart by few squadrons. an tie interceptor with flight controllers can one shot them by using AS. I kinda like it still but it is probably way too power. -
Problem is that if FFG follows SOP they will include upgrades that will be good in both but only in the one faction (XI7, anyone?) So say I'm digging the repair upgrade running in 3 Gozanti Flots, I still have to buy 3 potato bug flots as well! -
Aye, spot on Idie, mate. I initially only spotted 2, but there is an aft set, so it looks like the Hammerhead's whole compliment is 3 twin-laser cannons (I'd sincerely doubt those are turbolasers given that they aren't any larger than an X-wing's cannons and no significant mounting. They may even be proportionally smaller. I mean, that's not much for firepower, and only 2 turrets look to be -
I'm also on the 3 of each bandwagon. Seems like the right amount to get the support you need, but not end up hamstringing your list by being too much 'support' and not enough 'stuff' being supported. -
>INB4 this argument gets started for the umpteenth time seehttps://community.fantasyflightgames.com/search/?q=flotilla&type=forums_topic&nodes=402&sortby=relevancy&search_in=titles -
Holy ****! I gotta try that now -
Sigh.Look you can enjoy the game or exit stage left. No big deal, right? Some of us are kind of excited by this, y'know? So enjoy our celebrating. Take a breath. It's all good. Promise. -
If you look at it from a $ perspective, Fantasy Flight is the faction that won. -
I agree the first/last thing can be abused. But to say that all players who bid to go first are unskilled, insecure in their ability, and need to game the system to win is BS. I know nothing about space cowboy, nor do I follow peoples win streaks. Just because he's the best in your area means nothing to me and doesn't reflect upon the game systems. -
Imps just need to git gud, n00b commanders. That or Raddus is as OP as Sloane was for the first 2 days she showed up. -
In places, Ginkapo. Sometimes it occurs naturally, sometimes 'unnaturally' and for all we know, sometimes supernaturally! Because 'why not'? -
Its absolutely amazing the work that goes in to Vassal - especially everything you do, but alas, No Vassal for me. My old computer didn't allow it... I havn't installed it on the new system yet, but there's no reason why it shouldn't work. Just with a Toddler, there's no way I can set aside the time required to play on any given day (which is why I limit my participation -
Now I'm confused. He is good. He's won every tournament that he and I have both played in except for one. He won the SC at Giga Bites back in June and I think that was the biggest SC so far so definitely qualifies as a competitive setting. In fact he's the only person I've played more than once and have never beaten. I have been able to limit him to -
