Can you buy the Resistance trait more than once for a given type?

For example, can you purchase "Resistance: Heat" 3 times, to give +30 bonus against heat effects?

No, you cannot. You can only purchase talents that specially marked multiple times. Like the one that gives you wounds.

Unless it it can be purchased repeatedly. If I'm right traits cannot be purchased only talents and skills.

Resistance *is* a talent, not a trait.

Resistance is a Talent, and can be bought repeatedly, but only for new Resistances, e.g. Heat/Cold/Fear etc...
