Nope, that was rumoured to be an LCG. This is more of a party game with similar themes as that games settings. I suspect this is what the rumours were likely based on.

i thought the exact same thing at first. i hope there is still hope for a vtes lcg in the future. that is still my favorite card game and i think it would work well in an lcg format.
