RULES QUESTION - ‘End Your Turn’ (Databank card #1)

By tom_uk, in Star Wars: Outer Rim

The Databank #1 cards contain the phrase “...end your turn”; e.g. “You may lose one [faction] reputation to deliver this cargo and end your turn. Otherwise, end your turn”. This will have arisen in the Action step when attempting a `Deliver action. Does it mean the player’s turn immediately, i.e. the Encounter step does not occur? Or does it just mean end the Action step and go on to the Encounter step?
