Only happened once in Resistance, from what I've seen. The lady was unconscious the whole time, so can't say it's impossible that some controls could be back there. But in other scenes, Kaz is flying it like a normal t-70.

They did something similar with the A-Wing in Rebels, but I don't remember the GIB doing anything there either.

Well in Rebels they used the A-Wing Trainer ship that was a little bit bulkier that had a seat for the instructor behind the pilot.

I think I need to save this off for reference. Any time I start thinking I should just cave and buy Resistance ships, reference the “what’s coming” and then say pass.

T70 and Awing look fun. Transport in wave 4 eh...but at least it’s not an uglier version of the same aesthetic. This is not giving me high hopes for the sequel trilogy factions in this game, unless episode 9 can deliver some good stuff.

It's just a matter of perspective my dude.

Eh, was made quickly.

Either way, The T-85 is a gorgeous beast and I will hear no dissent without first showing why I believe it is gorgeous.

She has a "muscle car" feel on that nose.

Looking at images, I’m actually not sure it’s bulkier than the standard A-Wings we are in the show. It’s suppose to be a modified form of the base RZ-1 chassis. That might add some bulk, but it seems like they cleared out some tech from behind the pilot.

All A-wings in Rebels are bulkier than the OT ship. In Legends, there was an earlier version of the A-wing called Spearhead - it was heavier, but slower than the ROTJ ship. Maybe this is somewhat still true in new canon.

Remaining movie ships that have not been released as part of 2.0:

  • TIE Interceptor
  • TIE Bomber
  • Lambda Shuttle
  • Upsilon
  • A-Wing
  • Eta-2 Actis
  • LAAT/i Gunship? (not shown in space in the movies)
  • V-Wing

What movie/scene is the V-wing in?

ah, looks like it's somewhere in epIII. I'll have to force myself to watch that and look for it.

Yeah, they seem to be more "Spearhead" like, but all official reference to them says they are RZ-1s. Even some of the comic book art I've seen shows more room in the cockpit area then previously shown.

Iirc 2 escort Palp to Mustafar when he goes to recover Anakin. There is also a few more in Imperial colors in the scene with the early construction Death Star (only the main struts marking out the shape have been built).

Just watched the end of it yesterday, can confirm.

Oh boy, now I really want Imperial V-Wings!

(Rebels got the ARC, right?)

To be honest... I’ve kind of got all the ones I really wanted. The grown up TIE fighter fan boy would like the Avenger, Stormtrooper Transport, Assault Shuttle and so forth.

The only TIEs I want now are the TIE Avenger and TIE Hunter. And a proper Royal Guard TIE (with fins).

Something like that would be pretty cool. Apparently there are a few novels and comics showing the early days of the Empire, and in the time before letting Seinar build their ties, they were using left over ARC's and V-wing's painted in Imperial grey. Vader even kept using his Eta-2 as his personal fighter before getting an X-1. It would be a cool time period to throw into X-wing IMO

I think that T85 would look much better if it had a bubble cockpit like a P51-Mustang

I would like to see a larger squadron pack containing the Colossus Aces. Each of them has its own pilot so no generics would be available for them, but it would be awesome to have some sort of title giving all the aces some sort of group ability like the some of the elite talents coming out for the Resistance, First Order, Republic and Separatists.

Without this trio, TIE series is incomplete. TIE Hunter, TIE Avenger and Droid TIE.

After the Resistance finale I am definitely on board for a Fireball expansion.

May have been mentioned before, but the FO Atmospheric Assault Lander (AAL) would be great to see.

I don't know, this looks like a very boring ship for X-Wing.

The Xi-class light shuttle could be interesting, though (as a cheap crew carrier).

A Tie Hunter with a S-foil mecanic like the X-Wing could be fun.

Wave 5 incoming!!!!
