well its squadron value still makes boarding teams interesting... and what I like is that it gives people choices for their builds. If they expect to fight a MC80 or ISD, than boarding teams become super good to cripple that ship on turn 2 or 3

Yeah, the only trouble being expecting the slow-boat-of-a-not-that-defensive-base to live to close range on its terms to deliver the payload and then have it be effective on the target...

As people say, that's a lot of "ifs" right there.

oh yeah that close range requirement... then it's super good on the ISD-1!

A Motti Quasar will be slow rolling 8 hull into that boarding party...

Yep.

Anything that has ISD players give up Gunnery Teams is a bonus in my book.

I don't see many ISD Is with GT. Kinda hard to keep 2 ships at close in the front arc. ISD II with GT is scary.

I still see them. Mostly for the Anti-Ship+Squad Front arc at the same time.

I'm pretty okay without GT on my VSDs and putting Boarding Troopers on them. Maybe that's how I'll get Konstantine to work.... Keep something close enough for a VSD to trigger Troopers, and then blast them with all the dice.

I see it alot... Mainly because we slow down a lot to keep those arcs.
