I very recently started to play and am primarily interested in the small base OT fighters only. I am considering adding the Millennium Falcon to my collection (since "everyone" says you MUST have one and for some of the upgrade cards) . Suggestions for a large base ship for the Imperials to oppose the Falcon are requested and appreciated!

Slave One is pretty iconic, and generally slightly more useful than the Lambda, if you're not tossing a Palp bus in.

But, the only big base Imperial ship that often sees play is the Decimator.

However, I would wait until Feb 2nd. Grab the new Upsilon shuttle, and wreck face with a support ship strapped to a massive cannon. It'll be fun, it'll be cool, and it'll be well worth the wait.

Thanks for the responses! I'm leaning toward the Slave One since I'm sticking to OT ships for starters. I really like the Decimator model though...tough decision!!

The Firespray (Slave I) can also be used for the Scum faction if you ever get the Most Wanted expansion. If you don't want to wait for the Upsilon Shuttle, I would definitely go for the Slave I.

The Scum Boba has a far better ability but the Slave one is a lot of fun regardless so it's a great choice. If you do try scum you won't be disappointed. Big ships are where they tend to shine.
